At Cristus we promote talent, local artists and above all high quality art. Our exhibiting artists have a variety of approaches - passionate, devotional, or just straightforwardly beautiful. We have original paintings, ceramics, limited edition fine art prints and luxury postcard reproductions to suit all budgets.
We are extremely proud to be able to exhibit the work of these fine artists…
Julie-Ann Bowden - devotional iconography: sometimes sad, sometimes full of light and hope, always deeply religious
Shaun Hall - The finest Raku ceramics from an artist fresh from his triumphs in Paris & Tokyo.
Jon Mayers - a powerful collection of dark, disturbing etchings from a young artist of massive talent, currently undertaking advanced studies at the Royal College of Art
Dan McCarthy - a photographer who finds the surreal in the familiar
Zlatan Pilipovic - Sensual and colourful studies by an artist of international reputation
Tracey Rickard - based in St. Columb, Cornwall. Tracey’s aborigine-inspired dot art is meticulous and decorative
Our mystery Russian artist! - large colourful canvases based on Russian folklore. Playful and wild!
We also hope to include Edward Sanders - son of local Sandgate artist, Philip. Currently at Norwich School of Art, before applying to the Royal College.
